Alexis (Alex) Brunk

Hi, my name is Alexis Brunk. I am a Freshman enrolled in the Columbus College of Art and design, hoping to pursue a career in Illustration. I have had a lot of experiences with anxiety throghout the course of my life. It started from when I was little in kindergarten with separation anxiety, through elementary school and high school, dealing with manipulative people and the strive to be perfect in my schoolwork, and into college life. I am no professional, but I aim to inform the public and to make anxiety more known, and how it affects others. The more knowledge someone has about this subject, the better off they will be.

Also check down below for a new section on "Anxiety Draws", which is an anxiety/art influenced project!

Anxiety Draws

Along with this website, I also have something separate I have done recently. It is a series of drawings called "Anxiety Draws". These are drawings done depicting a certain anxiety, or drawing while having a certain anxiety over something going on. A good portion of them are abstract or with "object heads", which is usually people with something like a circle, square, triangle, TV, lampshade, or anything possible. as a head instead of a regular human head.

The drawings may differ in style from time to time, but ultimately proves to help!
